The Children and Young People’s Service provides a single service to all children and young people aged 0-18 years living in Newcastle and Gateshead who present with mental health difficulties. This includes children and young people who may be living in difficult and challenging circumstances.

Mental Health Matters
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to attend a drop-in session with Pathways. If you are aged 18 or over and struggle with your mental health in any way, Pathways can signpost you to other services, help you manage your benefits, and provide a wide range of support regarding your mental health. Drop-in sessions take place on Monday between 10am-2pm (no appointment necessary).

Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Services
A new ‘single point of access’ service for thousands of patients with muscle and joint (musculoskeletal – MSK) problems is to be launched across Newcastle and Gateshead (Monday 1st October 2018) TIMS – Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Services – offers self-care and fast access to information, resources and expert opinion about a variety of back, neck, joint or general muscle conditions.
NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme
The Healthier You: NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS DPP) identifies those at diabetes high risk and refers them onto a behaviour change programme.
Weight Management Support
If you are living with obesity and have diabetes or high blood pressure, or both, you could benefit from the 12 week NHS Digital Weight Managament Programme.
It can be hard to keep healthy and active but this free programme can help you develop healthier eating habits, be more active and lose weight. Available on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
