There are strict criteria for prescribing Mounjaro on the NHS. To be eligible patients must have a BMI of over 40 and at least four of the following conditions:
Type 2 diabetes; high blood pressure; high cholesterol; cardiovascular disease; obstructive sleep apnoea.
If you do not meet the criteria, we cannot prescribe Mounjaro.
