Repeat Prescriptions

To make it easier & safer for patients to obtain repeat prescriptions, patients will no longer be able to order these over the telephone with the surgery. However, repeat prescriptions can still be posted into the repeat prescriptions box located in the entrance to the surgery, be requested via the Patient Access online service (Please click the Patient Access logo below) or arranged directly by telephoning your pharmacy.

Please remember to give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for your prescription to be processed.

Once registered for this service, patients can immediately book or cancel two appointments online. Upon appropriate I.D. verification with a receptionist, patients can have additional services enabled such as booking additional appointments, managing repeat prescriptions, and access to aspects of their medical record. Please be aware some services can take up to 28 days to be approved.

NB: Patients signing up to online access, need to produce appropriate I.D. at reception within 6 months of initial sign up, after which time patients will need to re-register.
